Overview:
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Social Media Content & Community Manager (Healthcare) to manage and grow our online presence across multiple social media platforms. This role is responsible for developing engaging content, building online communities, increasing brand awareness, and supporting overall marketing objectives through strategic social media management.
The ideal candidate has strong content creation skills, exceptional written English, experience using Canva, and a solid understanding of audience engagement strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Experience within the healthcare sector, particularly home care services, aged care, nursing, or related industries, is highly preferred.
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week | Flexible during client business hours | Canberra, ACT
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy

Develop and create engaging visual content, including reels, short-form videos, graphics, and images

Write compelling captions, social media copy, and engagement-focused content

Create content aligned with brand messaging and evolving business priorities

Generate original content ideas that drive audience engagement and brand awareness
Social Media Management

Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant social platforms

Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar

Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and platform best practices
Community Engagement

Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful online conversations

Build and nurture social media communities to strengthen brand loyalty and trust

Monitor audience sentiment and identify opportunities for increased engagement
Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyze social media performance metrics

Prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, audience growth, and content effectiveness

Provide recommendations to improve performance and achieve marketing objectives
Brand Growth & Collaboration

Align social media activities with changing business goals and marketing initiatives

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content supports broader business strategies

Identify emerging social media trends and recommend innovative approaches
Requirements:

Proven experience in professional social media management

Strong proficiency in Canva for creating social media graphics and visual content

Experience editing images and videos for social media platforms

Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills
