Job Description

As a Power BI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence reports and dashboards across multiple healthcare-related organizations. You will work closely with leadership teams to understand reporting requirements, extract data from various systems, and transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with extensive Power BI experience, strong Excel capabilities, and a passion for helping businesses make informed decisions through data visualization and reporting.

Schedule: (20 hours per week), Flexible during client business hours
Client Timezone: Central Time

Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Develop automated reporting solutions that improve visibility across key business metrics
  • Create visualizations and analytics that translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Continuously improve reporting frameworks and dashboard functionality

Data Analysis & Management

  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from Salesforce and other internal systems
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting outputs
  • Identify trends, performance gaps, and business opportunities through data analysis
  • Maintain data integrity and reporting standards across multiple companies

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership teams to understand reporting needs and business objectives
  • Translate business requirements into effective reporting and dashboard solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Support leadership with ad hoc reporting and analytical requests

Process Improvement & Data Strategy

  • Recommend improvements to reporting processes and data structures
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions that support business growth
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks
  • Assist in establishing best practices for business intelligence and data governance

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of professional experience working with Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and related tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence best practices

Preferred

  • Experience supporting healthcare, medical, or multi-entity organizations
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Experience creating executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting
  • Knowledge of healthcare operational and financial reporting metrics
