Overview

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager / Paralegal to manage approximately 100 active cases for a small plaintiff personal injury firm. This role requires full-cycle case management, from initial client intake through settlement and preparation of final disbursement documents, with a strong emphasis on organization, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is confident handling cases independently, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients via Zoom and phone. Most cases resolve pre-litigation, with a portion involving plaintiff workers’ compensation matters.

Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30 with one hour break from 12-1pm CST Timezone

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of personal injury cases from intake to settlement
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
• Draft and prepare settlement demand packages and supporting documentation
• Review medical records, billing statements, and case-related documents
• Track case deadlines, follow-ups, and required documentation
• Prepare final settlement disbursement statements and supporting paperwork
• Maintain organized and accurate case files within Filevine
• Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive updates and professional communication
• Support workers’ compensation cases as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience managing personal injury cases in a plaintiff law firm
• Must have experience with FILEVINE
• Ability to handle full-cycle case management independently
• Prior experience with Filevine litigation software preferred, or strong ability to self-train and master new systems
• Comfortable on Zoom and video calls with clear, professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Experience in plaintiff workers’ compensation cases is a plus
• A paralegal or Legal Assistant degree is encouraged but not required
