In this role, you will champion a vital digital transformation for our client by building and managing custom Microsoft PowerApps solutions to replace their outdated CRM and legacy database systems. Working closely with the collaborative team, you will design innovative applications that integrate various tools, eliminate frustrating workflows, and empower the client's field-based staff. This is an exciting, long-term engagement with incredible potential for ongoing development as the client expands their technology infrastructure and unifies their fragmented IT stack into a seamless, high-performing Microsoft ecosystem.

Client Overview:
The client is a community allied health organization with field-based workers who require integrated digital solutions. They are transitioning from a fragmented IT stack to a unified Microsoft-based system to improve workflow efficiency and data management.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (AEST) Australian Eastern Standard Time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to replace existing CRM systems and workflow tools.
  • Migrate and integrate data from legacy systems including Access databases into new PowerApps solutions.
  • Work with SQL code and APIs to ensure seamless data flow between different systems and applications.
  • Build user-friendly interfaces for field workers and administrative staff to improve data collection and reporting processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to the internal team on PowerApps functionality and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations within the Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Plan and implement future phases of technology integration including scanning software and additional workflow automation.

Requirements:

Must-have Requirements

  • Extensive expertise in Microsoft PowerApps development and implementation.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and database management.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating multiple software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to work independently as a remote contractor while maintaining regular communication with clients.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Access database migration projects.
  • Background in healthcare technology or understanding of healthcare data privacy requirements.
  • Familiarity with document scanning software integration.
  • Previous experience building CRM systems using PowerApps.
  • Experience working with Australian-based clients or an understanding of Australian data privacy standards.
