Job Overview
We are seeking a creative Social Media Manager to elevate the digital presence of our growing junk removal company. In this role, you will transform our raw, on-the-job photography into polished, highly engaging content primarily for Instagram and Facebook. Your daily responsibilities will include editing media, writing captions, scheduling posts, and promptly managing customer interactions via direct messages. Schedule
Mon-Fri, flexible during client business hours EST time (20 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Edit and enhance photos and media content provided by the company to create visually appealing social media posts
- Create engaging captions and schedule posts across Instagram and Facebook platforms
- Monitor and respond to direct messages throughout the day in a timely and professional manner
- Implement automated engagement strategies such as comment-to-DM funnels to capture leads
- Develop and execute strategies to organically grow the company's social media following and engagement rates
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram
- Demonstrated ability to edit visual content and create polished, professional social media posts
- Portfolio showcasing previous social media work and content creation examples
- Experience with social media growth strategies and audience engagement tactics is highly preferred
- Familiarity with automated messaging and lead generation tools for social media platforms is highly preferred
