Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Content Specialist to help grow our online presence and engage our audience across Instagram and Facebook. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies, create engaging content, repurpose existing educational materials into visually appealing posts, and build a strong online community. The ideal candidate is highly creative, experienced in social media management, and passionate about producing meaningful content that resonates with audiences in the wellness and personal development space.

Schedule: Flexible Schedule 20 hours/week with some overlap for catch up and meetings for alignmen

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to grow organic reach on Instagram and Facebook
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with trending topics and audience interests
  • Repurpose existing articles, worksheets, and educational materials into polished digital content
  • Design professional worksheets, guides, and branded visuals using Canva
  • Monitor engagement and interact with followers to nurture leads and build community
  • Track content performance and provide regular progress reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for service-based or wellness businesses
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva and content editing tools (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Ability to identify trending topics and translate them into relevant, engaging content
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Creative self-starter who can take initiative and work independently
  • Sensitivity and understanding when creating content around personal topics such as relationships and wellbeing
