Job Overview:
This role combines operational administration with creative marketing responsibilities to support a youth sports program. The position will be particularly busy during the onboarding season from now through September/October, with workload adjusting based on seasonal needs. The ideal candidate will manage client communications, event logistics, venue bookings, and social media content creation to enhance the program's digital presence and streamline operations.
Client Overview:
A growing cheerleading program serving athletes aged 4 to 22 years old. The organization is entering a new season and experiencing rapid growth requiring dedicated administrative and marketing support.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule during the client’s business hours (British Standard Time, 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage email communications with parents and prospective clients, handling inquiries about class schedules, onboarding processes, and program information.
- Coordinate logistics, including competition travel arrangements, monthly venue bookings, and ensuring alignment with training timetables.
- Create and manage social media content across platforms, particularly Instagram, using provided videos and photos to attract new customers and grow engagement.
- Design marketing materials, including parent information letters, competition details, information packs, and other printed communications.
- Onboard new families by sending registration links and collecting required details before their first class.
- Maintain regular interaction with the community through digital channels to build the program's online presence.
Must Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management with a portfolio of graphics work demonstrating design capabilities.
- Proficiency with content creation tools, including Canva for graphic design and CapCut for video editing.
- Strong written communication skills for client emails and creating parent-facing documents.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and strategies for growing digital presence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple administrative tasks.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Previous experience working with youth sports programs or family-oriented organizations.
- Experience creating information packets, newsletters, or other marketing collateral for educational or recreational programs.
