Job Overview
Our client is looking for a driven Inbound Sales Representative to manage inbound leads and optimize the sales workflow. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries, qualifying leads, identifying customer pain points, and routing high-value opportunities to the regional sales team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Handle initial qualifying conversations with inbound leads immediately upon arrival in Zoho CRM
- Determine customer pain points, project categories, and budget before routing to regional reps
- Route qualified opportunities to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) based on location and project type
- Identify and redirect service vs. sales inquiries to ensure efficient departmental handovers
- Revive older leads from trade shows and past quotes through proactive calling and emailing
- Maintain data accuracy in CRM to improve overall sales workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Previous customer service or inbound sales experience with a proactive personality
- Mechanical or industrial aptitude to understand packaging machinery nomenclature
- Experience with Zoho CRM or similar sales tracking platforms
- Confident, inquisitive, and persistent approach to customer engagement
- Strong English communication; bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly desired
