Job Overview
This is a position focused on launching and managing the online retail store through Shopify, with future expansion into social media management and administrative support. The role will begin with intensive Shopify store buildout and product management, then evolve to include ongoing store maintenance, customer support, and multi-channel marketing. An established brick-and-mortar specialty menswear retailer with 52 years of history, offering premium suits and fine clothing from exclusive vendors including Steve Harvey, Belvedere, and other quality brands. The business serves a loyal customer base across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Philadelphia with unique inventory unavailable through major corporate competitors, and is now expanding to e-commerce to reach a wider audience.

Responsibilities
- Build out and manage the Shopify e-commerce platform including product uploads, categorization, image editing, and product descriptions to professionally launch the online store.
- Coordinate with existing web design team to ensure seamless integration between the main website and Shopify store, managing catalog updates and links as needed.
- Handle day-to-day e-commerce operations including order management, customer inquiries, package tracking, and coordination with vendors for drop-shipping arrangements.
- Communicate with vendors via email to arrange direct-to-customer shipments when inventory is not available in-store, including preparing packing slips and mailing labels.
- Develop and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to drive traffic to the online store and engage with customers.
- Provide administrative support including managing vendor communications, updating website catalogs, and assisting with contract bidding processes for government and institutional uniform contracts.
- Monitor online store performance and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve product offerings, customer experience, and sales conversion.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and managing Shopify e-commerce stores, including product management, catalog organization, and platform optimization.
- Experience in e-commerce operations such as order fulfillment, inventory management, customer support, and drop-shipping processes.
- Excellent written communication skills for customer service, vendor coordination, and professional business correspondence.
- Experience with WooCommerce, social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), and retail/fashion e-commerce (nice to have).
- Familiarity with government contracting platforms, bid proposal processes, and basic image editing/product photography for e-commerce listings (nice to have).
