As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through CRM management, prospect research, outbound outreach, follow-up activities, and appointment setting. Your primary goal will be to continuously fill the sales pipeline with qualified prospects and referral partners.

Our client is a newly established epoxy and concrete coating company based in Utah, specializing in garage floor coatings, concrete staining, epoxy sealant applications, and related surface treatment solutions. As a startup business preparing for launch, they are focused on building a strong operational and marketing foundation from day one. Their goal is to establish a strong local presence through strategic lead generation, digital marketing, referral partnerships, and exceptional customer service. Our client is looking for team members who are proactive, organized, and excited about contributing to the growth of a fast-moving startup environment where their work will have a direct impact on business success.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Utah Time (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective referral partners, including builders, realtors, property managers, garage companies, and concrete contractors
- Build and maintain accurate prospect databases within the CRM
- Add and update contacts, lead statuses, and opportunity records
- Conduct outbound email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
- Execute follow-up sequences to nurture prospects and referral partners
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the business owner with qualified prospects and referral partners
- Track all inbound and outbound leads and ensure timely CRM updates
- Identify and add commercial prospects to the CRM database
- Monitor pipeline activity and maintain lead progression through the sales process
- Assist with customer follow-ups and review request campaigns
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
- Support revenue growth initiatives through consistent prospecting and relationship-building efforts
Requirements
- Previous experience in B2B lead generation, appointment setting, or business development
- Strong CRM management experience
- Experience conducting cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Strong research and prospecting skills
- Ability to manage multiple follow-up campaigns simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM platforms
- Experience working with construction, home services, real estate, or related industries is highly regarded
