Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing & Operations Assistant to take ownership of marketing execution, social media management, CRM organization, content coordination, and day-to-day founder support. This role is ideal for someone with a strong marketing background who can combine creative execution with operational discipline — ensuring campaigns are launched, content is consistently delivered, customer systems remain organized, and growth initiatives move forward. The ideal candidate understands digital marketing, social media strategy, AI-supported workflows, and enjoys working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Client Overview:

An expanding food and consumer goods startup focused on building a strong digital presence, scaling e-commerce operations, and growing through modern marketing strategies. The company is leveraging AI, automation, content creation, and data-driven marketing to improve customer engagement, increase brand awareness, and support rapid growth.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible hours aligned with business needs GMT (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing & Content Management

  • Develop, organize, and execute marketing initiatives across digital channels
  • Create engaging graphics, social media assets, and marketing materials
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms including: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant social channels
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
  • Identify content opportunities, trends, and strategies to increase engagement
  • Support copywriting for social media, campaigns, and marketing communications

Social Media Growth & Community Management

  • Manage company social media accounts end-to-end
  • Maintain a consistent and professional online presence
  • Create strategies to improve audience growth and engagement
  • Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions
  • Research competitors and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure content is aligned with business goals and customer audience

SEO, AI & Marketing Optimization

  • Support SEO initiatives to improve website visibility and organic growth
  • Conduct keyword research and assist with content optimization
  • Use AI tools to improve marketing productivity, content creation, and workflows
  • Create AI-assisted marketing content while maintaining brand quality
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes using AI tools

Paid Advertising & Campaign Support

  • Support paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms
  • Assist with campaign setup, monitoring, and performance tracking
  • Review marketing analytics and provide insights for improvement
  • Help optimize campaigns based on engagement, conversions, and performance data
  • Coordinate creative assets needed for paid media campaigns

CRM, Systems & Administrative Support

  • Manage CRM systems and ensure information remains accurate and organized
  • Maintain customer records, tasks, follow-ups, and pipelines
  • Organize workflows inside tools such as: HubSpot, Trello, and similar project management platforms
  • Manage emails, priorities, and operational tasks
  • Support the founder with administrative coordination and follow-ups
  • Ensure deadlines, projects, and marketing initiatives stay on track

Requirements:

  • Strong proven background in digital marketing, social media, or growth marketing
  • Experience managing business social media accounts professionally
  • Strong content creation skills including graphics, copywriting, and campaign materials
  • Experience scheduling and managing content calendars
  • Understanding of SEO principles and organic growth strategies
  • Experience with CRM management, preferably HubSpot
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello
  • Experience supporting paid advertising campaigns
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote startup environment

Highly Regarded Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with e-commerce or consumer product brands
  • Experience managing LinkedIn growth strategies
  • Knowledge of AI tools for marketing productivity and content creation
  • Experience with automation tools or workflow improvements
  • Familiarity with Shopify marketing workflows
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Canva, Adobe, or similar graphic design experience
  • Background supporting founders or startup teams
