Job Overview
A growing migration consulting business serving Australia and New Zealand is seeking a part-time Migration Case Operations Assistant to support the founder with back-office operations and administrative tasks. In this role, you will help manage an increasing workload by organizing case files, researching migration regulations, and creating automated workflow systems. The position starts at 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM AEST) with strong potential to transition to full-time based on performance. It offers a permanent work-from-home setup with immediate hiring.

Responsibilities
- Assist with back office operations and administrative tasks related to migration case management.
- Help create and implement systems and processes to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct research on Australian and New Zealand migration regulations and acts as needed.
- Manage client inquiries and track next steps in the migration process.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support document management and case file organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an operational or administrative assistant (not entry-level).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows.
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive approach with ability to suggest process improvements.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Background in legal assistance or paralegal work is preferred.
- Familiarity with migration, immigration, or legal compliance processes is preferred.
- Experience working with Australian or New Zealand regulations is preferred.
- Fluency in Vietnamese or Thai language is preferred but not required.
