Appointment Setter (Part-Time)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Appointment Setter to support our client's sales efforts through proactive outbound outreach. In this role, you will engage potential customers through high-volume cold calling, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for the sales team. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm and then 1pm to 3pm EST.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls using a provided lead list and approved call script.
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the client's sales team.
- Follow up with interested prospects to secure and confirm appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, appointment details, and call outcomes.
- Track and report daily activity, including call volume, appointments booked, and conversion metrics.
- Assist with lead research and list-building activities during downtime to support pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with the client through regular check-ins and progress reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in cold calling and appointment setting.
- Expereince in insurance industry.
- Strong spoken English with clear pronunciation and a professional phone presence.
- Ability to confidently follow a script while adapting naturally to conversations.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing call records and follow-up activities.
- Comfortable working during U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours.
Scope & Engagement
- Part-time position, 20 hours per week.
- Work from a client-provided lead list; no independent lead sourcing tools required.
- Client will provide onboarding, call scripts, and performance expectations.
- Regular meetings via Zoom to review progress, performance, and objectives.
- Success will be measured based on appointment-setting goals and overall conversion performance.
