Our client is a growing wellness and education business based in Queensland, Australia, offering transformational services, events, and training programs focused on personal wellbeing and holistic development. Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist (MailChimp) to support marketing operations across email marketing, social media, website management, and event administration by combining creative content creation with hands-on marketing execution.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible hours AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Draft, design, and distribute fortnightly email newsletters, marketing campaigns, and audience segmentation strategies using MailChimp.
• Develop automated email nurturing sequences to engage and convert new subscribers over an onboarding journey.
• Design visually engaging social media graphics, marketing materials, and scheduled Instagram content using Canva.
• Edit raw video footage into short-form reels and social media clips for digital platforms.
• Update and maintain the company website platform using Squarespace.
• Manage event listings, bookings, ticketing, and administrative scheduling through Acuity Scheduling and Eventbrite.
• Monitor marketing performance metrics and support general administration to optimize campaign workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a marketing, digital marketing, or marketing specialist role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with core systems including MailChimp, Canva, and Squarespace.
• Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns and automated nurture sequences.
• Strong graphic design and basic video editing skills for short-form social media digital content.
• Professional English written communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing copy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment.

• Experience in wellness, education, coaching, events, or training industries is highly desirable.
