Job Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and creative Social Media & Integrated Marketing Specialist to support and drive digital growth across two expanding brands. This comprehensive position carries end-to-end ownership of organic social media management, creative content production, localized community marketing, email campaigns, paid Meta advertising, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate is an execution-focused professional who does not simply schedule posts, but can independently translate product features and customer stories into high-performing visual assets using Canva and video editing tools with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Client Overview

Our client operates a dynamic e-commerce and retail portfolio consisting of two specialized brands:

  • Business 1: The primary business entity, focused on manufacturing and supplying heavy-duty pop-up gazebos, event shelters, market stalls, and customized display solutions for businesses, educational institutions, sports clubs, and outdoor event organizers.
  • Business 2: A fast-growing brand providing practical home and outdoor living products, including furniture, residential storage solutions, pet products, garden sheds, and industrial shelving systems.

Schedule 

  • Flexible during client business hours [New Zealand Time ] (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Account Management: Manage, audit, and maintain profile integrity across company business accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Neighbourly; ensure all public-facing information, tracking links, and contact channels remain accurate and up to date.
  • Content Planning & Deployment: Structure and execute separate content pipelines for both brands; maintain a minimum cadence of 4 posts per week for Hercules Gazebo (including reels and educational videos) and 4 distinct image-based posts per month for Hercules Store, compiling assets every Thursday for managerial review.
  • Content Creation & Design: Independently design high-conversion social graphics, promotional digital banners, and edited product images inside Canva; produce short-form video reels and TikToks using CapCut, incorporating captions, fluid transitions, and brand overlays.
  • Community Marketing & Audience Development: Research and actively engage with relevant niche Facebook community groups (local markets, sports clubs, small business groups, and event organizers) to build organic brand visibility through high-value content interactions.
  • Paid Social Advertising: Strategize, build, and optimize paid Meta advertising campaigns within fixed monthly budgets; execute audience testing, manage remarketing funnels, and perform continuous copy variations to maximize total ROAS.
  • Email Marketing Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end weekly email marketing schedule through Klaviyo, handling list segmentation, campaign setup, link mapping, asset testing, and automated scheduling for at least one broad campaign drop per week.
  • Analytics & Performance Reporting: Compile comprehensive monthly reports covering organic channel metrics, paid advertising attribution scales (CTR, CPC, conversion rates), email click maps, and audience growth insights to deliver definitive strategy recommendations.

Requirements

  • Platform Footprint: Proven professional experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Business Suite architectures for commercial brands.
  • Email & Ad Stack Fluency: Direct, practical proficiency utilizing Klaviyo for email marketing alongside hands-on campaign execution inside Meta Ads Manager.
  • Visual Production Capability: Strong Canva skills combined with proven experience independently recording, cutting, and editing short-form video formats via CapCut or highly equivalent software.
  • Marketing Foundations: Strong structural understanding of direct-response audience targeting, digital remarketing loops, and core performance advertising metrics (CTR, CPC, and ROAS).
  • Linguistic Standard: Exceptional written English communication skills tailored for crafting engaging captions, clear digital storytelling, and persuasive call-to-actions (CTAs).
  • Operational Discipline: High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to follow structured multi-stage approval processes and meet strict calendar deadlines.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly creative, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while remaining responsive to positive operational feedback.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience developing content, managing storefront integrations, or running paid campaigns specifically for TikTok accounts is preferred.
  • Prior background operating within the retail, e-commerce, commercial event organization, outdoor hardware, or home furnishings sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record executing community marketing campaigns or generating organic sales pipeline through hyper-local network groups (e.g., Neighbourly or localized community registries).

Portfolio Requirement Applicants must provide a comprehensive creative portfolio displaying personal, real-world execution of the following assets:

  • Canva graphic design templates and layout illustrations
  • Live social media posts or structured copywriting samples
  • Short-form video loops (Reels, Shorts, or TikTok content)

  • Email marketing examples (if available)
