Short-Form Video Editor (UGC & Paid Media)

Overview

Our client is seeking a talented part-time Short-Form Video Editor to transform raw UGC footage into compelling, high-performing paid advertising creatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the creative team to produce high-volume content, iterate based on performance insights, and scale output across major social media platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for an efficiency-minded creator looking to drive measurable results with a performance-driven team.

Schedule

  • Flexible hours during Sydney business hours (AEST) (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw UGC footage into high-converting paid media advertisements across multiple formats
  • Produce 10–20+ ad creative variations per week, including multiple hooks, angles, and creative concepts
  • Apply revision feedback and performance-based insights to improve existing creatives
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and quality standards
  • Create engaging edits using captions, motion graphics, transitions, and other direct-response editing techniques
  • Collaborate with the creative team to streamline production workflows from briefing through final delivery
  • Organize project files and maintain efficient editing processes to support rapid content production
  • Adapt creative approaches based on campaign performance data and testing requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing short-form video content for paid media campaigns on Meta and Google platforms. (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Strong understanding of direct-response marketing, ad hooks, and UGC-style creative formats.
  • Advanced proficiency in CapCut and other video editing tools, including animated captions, fast-paced edits, and motion elements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality output under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong written communication and effective collaboration in a remote team environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, organization skills, and ownership of deliverables.
