Job Overview

Our client is looking for a meticulous and driven Real Estate Research Assistant to manage a queue of assigned orders and conduct in-depth property, ownership, lien, and tax research using diverse public record sources. In this role, you will analyze and validate complex government records, compile findings into precise digital research packets, and communicate with external agencies to verify missing information. This position is ideal for an analytical professional who thrives in a highly structured, remote environment and possesses the technical focus required to meet daily productivity and quality targets.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a queue of assigned orders and conduct detailed research using county, city, state, and other public record sources.
  • Gather, review, and validate property, ownership, lien, and tax-related information from multiple data sources.
  • Compile research findings into organized PDF research packets and upload completed files into the company's internal order management system.
  • Contact government offices, municipalities, or other relevant entities as needed to verify information and clarify records.
  • Conduct outbound verification calls to validate research findings and obtain missing information when required.
  • Accurately document research findings, actions taken, and relevant notes within company systems.
  • Ensure all collected information is complete, accurate, and meets company quality standards before submission.

Requirements

  • Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate government websites, public databases, and online records efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify critical information within large volumes of documentation.
  • Comfortable making professional phone calls to verify information and gather missing details.
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience working with web-based systems, PDF documents, spreadsheets, and online research tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex records and data sources.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining accountable in a remote, camera-on environment.
