Job Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Content Specialist to help strengthen and grow the online presence of an established landscape design and build business with over 26 years of industry experience. The business has historically grown through referrals and organic reputation, but is now looking to build a more consistent and strategic digital presence to showcase its expertise, attract new design clients, and increase brand awareness. This role will also support the promotion of the business owner's personal artistic work, helping to elevate both the company brand and the creative identity that underpins the business. The ideal candidate combines social media management, content creation, branding, and digital marketing skills with the ability to work independently and contribute ideas that drive visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including content scheduling, publishing, engagement, and community management.
- Identify opportunities to increase audience growth, brand awareness, and engagement across all platforms.
- Develop content calendars and create visual storytelling content showcasing completed transformations, behind-the-scenes insights, and design philosophy.
- Transform project photos and business assets into engaging content that highlights landscape design projects and builds a premium brand presence.
- Create content that highlights artwork, creative processes, exhibitions, and artistic achievements for the owner’s personal brand.
- Align personal brand promotion with the broader company branding where appropriate to ensure consistency.
- Maintain and update website content, including portfolios and business information, while suggesting improvements for SEO, user experience, and lead generation.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn marketing.
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills using Canva or similar tools.
- Experience maintaining or updating websites, with basic understanding of SEO and optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with social media analytics, performance reporting, and audience growth strategies.
- Preferred: Background in landscaping, architecture, design, construction, or related creative industries, plus experience growing personal or creative brands.
- Preferred: Photography, videography, or graphic design skills, with ability to turn project assets into engaging social media content and campaigns.
