Overview

Our client is seeking a Logistics & Operations Coordinator to drive supply chain efficiency by managing both domestic and export shipping workflows. This position offers the opportunity to serve as the vital link between carriers, clients, and production managers to ensure flawless, on-time deliveries. Schedule:

• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST, 8 hours/ day with 30 minutes of unpaid lunch Client Location/ Timezone: Yorkton Region (Melville), CST

Responsibilities

• Manage the schedule efficiently to maximize workflow
• Process, prepare, file, and send outbound truck carrier export documents
• Release railcar shipments to customers and file customs paperwork
• Schedule and book outbound loads with carriers
• Maintain freight cost listing
• Schedule inbound loads with the plant
• Data entry of quality results from inbound loads, ticket data, production data and pre-shipment sample into the system
• Delivery monitoring of each shipment to the customer’s warehouse
• Update the operational system for changes in schedules based on customers' needs
• Communicate regularly with clients, suppliers, and Production Managers to ensure shipments are on time
• Participate in team calls on production and shipping
