Customer Support Specialist (Chat & Order Fulfillment)

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (morning shift) or 2:00 to 9:00 pm (evening shift) (US Pacific Time, 40 hours per week)

Scope:

  • Primarily chat-based support with occasional brief outbound calls (30 seconds to 1 minute)
  • Working hours aligned to Pacific Time, between 11:00 AM and 9:00–10:00 PM
  • Navigate and operate a custom-built chat and order management platform
  • Collaborate with US-based team members for product and order guidance
  • Support the company's growth by adapting to increasing sales volume and evolving processes

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries via live chat to ensure timely and accurate resolutions
  • Monitor incoming orders from third-party platforms and verify order accuracy and product availability
  • Coordinate with internal team members via Slack to identify suitable product replacements for out-of-stock items
  • Reach out to customers via brief outbound calls or text to communicate order updates, replacements, or request documentation
  • Process and place orders through the company's point-of-sale system to fulfill customer requests
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service across all communication channels

Requirements:

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in customer support, preferably in a chat-based environment
  • Familiarity with CRM or helpdesk platforms similar to Zendesk or HubSpot
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Comfortable making brief outbound calls when necessary
  • High level of attention to detail, especially when handling orders and inventory discrepancies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
