Overview

We are seeking a versatile Finance Professional to manage both day-to-day bookkeeping and strategic accounting oversight for a US-based business owner. In this role, you will maintain pristine financial records in QuickBooks and proactively identify opportunities to optimize transaction structures for US tax compliance. It is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-impact strategic advisory beyond simple data entry while enjoying a flexible, long-term remote arrangement.

Schedule

• Part Time — 20 hours per week (Flexible within CDT)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping entries and financial record-keeping in QuickBooks
• Reconcile all bank and credit card accounts to ensure total accuracy
• Categorize and organize transactions specifically for US tax filing requirements
• Prepare monthly financial reports to provide visibility into business performance
• Support tax season preparation by ensuring all books are clean and up to date
• Provide strategic guidance on structuring transactions to reduce overall tax burden
• Oversee general accounting functions and ensure compliance with US standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping with expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks
• Solid understanding of U.S. accounting standards and federal tax filing processes
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule effectively
• Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and advisory
• Bonus if you have experience with U.S. tax advisory or strategic financial planning
