Insurance Appointment Setter

Join our dynamic team as an Insurance Telemarketer / Appointment Setter and drive agency growth by connecting with high-intent auto insurance leads. In this role, you will leverage a high-volume power dialer to engage prospects, overcome objections, and consistently secure qualified quote opportunities. This is an incredible opportunity for a resilient, self-motivated sales professional to collaborate directly with the agency owner and maximize their earning potential with performance-based incentives.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) aligned with U.S. Pacific Time zone business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to daily purchased leads using a power dialer to maximize contact rates
  • Engage prospects in conversations about auto insurance and generate qualified quote opportunities
  • Deliver a minimum target of seven to ten live transfers or appointment sets per day
  • Handle common objections and pushbacks with strong rebuttals to keep prospects engaged
  • Leave professional voicemails and manage follow-up callbacks to unconverted leads
  • Maintain accurate call dispositions and lead status updates within the CRM
  • Operate within the client's Ricochet CRM and follow established lead management workflows
  • Collaborate directly with the agency owner on scripting, call approach, and performance targets
  • Contribute to refining call scripts and objection-handling strategies based on real-time feedback
  • Support the agency's growth by consistently delivering qualified appointments that convert to written policies
  • Potential to be part of a larger telemarketing team as the agency scales operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound insurance sales or telemarketing, preferably auto insurance
  • Strong verbal communication skills with clear, confident, and persuasive delivery
  • Ability to work with power dialers and auto-dialing platforms at high call volumes
  • Resilience and self-motivation to maintain energy and consistency throughout extended calling sessions
  • High level of attention to detail when logging lead information and call outcomes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced sales environment
