Job Overview

As an Appointment Setter, you will be the first point of contact for prospective mortgage clients generated through Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for promptly contacting new leads, conducting initial qualification conversations, nurturing existing prospects, and scheduling or transferring qualified opportunities to mortgage brokers. This role requires strong communication skills, sales confidence, and prior experience within the Australian mortgage or finance industry.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM AEST and Saturday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Call incoming leads promptly as they are generated through Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns
  • Conduct structured pre-qualification conversations with prospective mortgage clients
  • Gather essential client information and assess mortgage requirements and eligibility
  • Transfer qualified prospects directly to mortgage brokers when appropriate
  • Follow up with leads through phone calls, SMS, and email campaigns to maximize conversion opportunities
  • Manage and systematically work through an existing database of approximately 250 leads
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and lead status updates within the CRM
  • Build rapport with prospects while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Meet appointment-setting targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Represent the business professionally during all client interactions

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the Australian mortgage, lending, or finance industry
  • Proven experience in appointment setting, lead generation, telesales, or outbound sales
  • Strong understanding of Australian mortgage terminology and basic lending qualification criteria
  • Experience using CRM systems and lead management tools
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to work toward performance and commission-based incentives
