Job Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cloud-Based Bookkeeping Specialist to support an established accounting services team. This is a long-term remote opportunity for a professional who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring day-to-day bookkeeping operations run smoothly.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (35 hours per week) Note: Includes a 1-hour unpaid break.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and account reconciliations for multiple clients.
• Accurately categorize financial transactions and maintain organized records.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and ensure financial data remains up to date.
• Review financial information for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with internal team members to support client accounting needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle financial data with professionalism.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Experience providing bookkeeping services for North American companies.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, dependable, and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Canadian clients or accounting firms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Canadian bookkeeping standards and practices.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software and bookkeeping tools.
