B2B Sales Development Representative (Cabinetry Industry)

Job Title: B2B Sales Development Representative (Cabinetry Industry)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support a growing cabinetry business focused on expanding its dealer and showroom network.

The company operates in the cabinetry manufacturing and distribution industry, selling through a B2B channel model. The role focuses on identifying and building relationships with showroom and retail partners in second and third-tier cities, starting with Ontario, Canada, with future expansion into the U.S. market (including Chicago and Columbus).

This is a foundational sales hire responsible for building outbound systems, generating qualified leads, and establishing strong early-stage relationships. The quality of outreach is critical, as first impressions will directly impact long-term partner relationships.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm CST

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume B2B outbound prospecting via cold calls, SMS, and email
  • Identify and qualify potential showroom and retail partners in targeted regions
  • Focus on businesses in second and third-tier cities (not major metropolitan areas)
  • Research and build targeted prospect lists based on defined criteria
  • Filter and identify high-potential businesses that could add cabinetry as a revenue stream
  • Develop and refine outreach scripts, messaging, and cadence strategies with the client
  • Nurture leads through structured follow-ups and relationship-building outreach
  • Track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and conversion metrics
  • Provide structured feedback from the market to refine targeting and messaging

Requirements

  • Must-have: Proven B2B outbound sales experience (non-negotiable)
  • Strong background in cold calling, lead generation, or business development
  • Experience independently researching and filtering business prospects by geography and industry
  • Strong phone presence with clear, professional English communication
  • Ability to build rapport quickly in a non-pushy, consultative sales style
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage daily outreach targets
  • Strong attention to detail in managing CRM data, leads, and follow-up sequences
  • Experience in lead research and prospecting tools is highly preferred

Nice to Have (Industry Advantage)

  • Experience in cabinetry, construction materials, home improvement, interior fit-out, or related B2B industries
  • Familiarity with dealer/distributor sales models or showroom partnerships
  • Experience working with North American or Canadian markets

Scope

  • Initial focus: Ontario, Canada (second & third-tier cities)
  • Future expansion: U.S. markets (Chicago, Columbus, and beyond)
  • Full-time dedicated SDR role (foundation hire for scalable outbound function)
  • Responsible for building outreach systems from the ground up (scripts, cadence, targeting logic)
  • Close collaboration with client to define ideal partner profile and qualification criteria
  • Expected to scale into a team-building role based on performance

Incentives

  • Performance-based bonuses for each qualified showroom partner secured

Core Focus

This is a high-quality, relationship-driven B2B sales role, not mass-market outreach. Success depends on the ability to identify the right showroom partners and establish trust through structured, professional, and strategic outreach.

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations (for full-time roles only)
