Role Overview: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Inbound Lead Qualification Specialist to engage with warm inbound leads, assess their needs, and seamlessly connect qualified prospects with our sales team. The ideal candidate has experience in lead qualification, strong objection-handling skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume calling environment while maintaining accurate CRM records and exceptional customer interactions. 

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:30a to 5p with a 30 min lunch CST (texas)

Responsibilities

  • Promptly contact warm inbound leads via phone to confirm interest and qualify prospects
  • Engage leads within a 15–20 second response window to build rapport and assess urgency
  • Conduct seamless live transfers of qualified prospects to in-house sales representatives
  • Maintain high-volume call activity while ensuring speed, accuracy, and lead quality handling
  • Overcome initial objections and hesitations to keep prospects engaged prior to handoff
  • Accurately track and log all call activity, outcomes, and lead dispositions in CRM systems

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales development, lead qualification, or appointment setting roles
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or a related high-trust industry is required
  • Excellent spoken English 
  • Strong objection-handling ability and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
  • High attention to detail to ensure no high-value warm leads are missed or mishandled
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven with a proven performance track record

Scope

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 paid hours + 1-hour unpaid break)
  • High-volume warm inbound calling with live transfer workflow
  • Commission / performance bonus structure available on top of base pay
  • Work within a secure remote environment using BruntWork Secure Remote Worker software
  • Close collaboration with in-house sales team to ensure efficient lead conversion and handoffs
