SEO Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to improve our website visibility, increase organic traffic, and drive qualified leads across major search engines. In this role, you will analyze website performance, track key SEO metrics, and translate data into actionable growth strategies. You will be responsible for executing both technical audits and on-page/off-page optimizations, including local SEO profiles and backlink campaigns. This is a full-time, remote position operating from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.

Schedule

Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for website growth.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for search engines.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Build and manage backlink campaigns to improve domain authority.
  • Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams.
  • Track SEO performance and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights. Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably managing multiple websites or campaigns.
  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Experience working with content, development, and marketing teams to implement SEO strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
