Overview
Our client is looking for a Specialized QuickBooks Bookkeeper to take full ownership of daily financial operations, complex system reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting. This role is designed for a technically confident professional who can independently manage data integrations across e-commerce, wholesale, and sales tax platforms. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting data discrepancies and maintaining pristine financial records for a growing multi-channel business.
Schedule:
- Full Time (40 hours/week) with a partial shift overlap with US business hours - EST (minimum 3–4 hours daily). Client Timezone: US Time Zone (to be confirmed).
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and ledger maintenance using QuickBooks Online
- Monitor and reconcile data integrations between accounting, inventory, and sales tax platforms
- Perform regular audits to identify transaction discrepancies, sync issues, missing orders, or data errors
- Manage B2B wholesale and B2C transaction processing, including tax-related documentation
- Support inventory accounting, valuation tracking, and reconciliation workflows
- Assist with job costing by properly allocating labor, materials, and project-related expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records, compliance documentation, and operational expenses
- Prepare recurring financial updates including reconciliation reports, AR tracking, and month-end support
- Collaborate with management using Google Workspace and communication/project tracking tools
- Support documentation and improvement of accounting workflows and SOPs
Requirements
- Strong experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or financial operations specialist
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Experience with inventory management platforms such as Cin7 or similar systems
- Familiarity with sales tax automation tools such as Avalara or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of: accrual accounting, inventory valuation, reconciliations, AP/AR processes, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting wholesale, e-commerce, supply chain, construction, or service-based businesses preferred
- Strong Google Workspace skills (Sheets, Drive, Docs, Meet)
- Comfortable learning and managing multiple software platforms
- Excellent English communication skills with ability to provide regular updates
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable collaborating with remote teams and joining regular video check-ins
