Marketing & Administrative Assistant

About the Role

As we continue to grow our direct-to-consumer business, we're looking for an organized, creative, and detail-oriented Influencer, Social Media & Email Marketing Coordinator to help expand our digital presence through influencer partnerships, engaging social media content, email marketing campaigns, and Shopify promotions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, staying organized, and turning marketing efforts into measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Program Management

  • Manage influencer outreach across military, veteran, BBQ, grilling, food, family, and lifestyle communities.
  • Track influencer outreach, approvals, shipments, promo codes, and campaign performance.
  • Maintain and update influencer databases and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate product shipments with the fulfillment team.
  • Follow up with influencers throughout campaign lifecycles.
  • Help develop scalable processes as the influencer program grows.

Shopify Promotions & Sales Tracking

  • Create and manage unique influencer promo codes within Shopify.
  • Track promo code performance and influencer-generated sales.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and performance dashboards.
  • Identify high-performing influencers for future campaigns and promotions.

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish 3–5 social media posts per day across multiple platforms.
  • Create engaging captions, hashtags, and promotional copy.
  • Organize and maintain digital content libraries.
  • Repurpose influencer-generated content into branded social media posts.
  • Monitor engagement and recommend content improvements based on performance.
  • Develop content themes around recipes, grilling, BBQ, family meals, seasonal promotions, and customer stories.

Email Marketing

  • Build and execute email campaigns using Klaviyo.
  • Create and schedule approximately five marketing emails per week.
  • Write engaging email copy, subject lines, preview text, and calls to action.
  • Coordinate email campaigns with social media promotions and influencer campaigns.
  • Monitor email performance, including open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and revenue.
  • Assist in developing reusable email templates and automated workflows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Excellent written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience creating and scheduling social media content.
  • Basic understanding of influencer marketing and affiliate programs.
  • Experience with Shopify or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience using Klaviyo or another email marketing platform is preferred.
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing promo codes, spreadsheets, and campaign data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Available to attend meetings with the hiring manager between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM PST.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with food, BBQ, grilling, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or e-commerce brands.
  • Experience managing influencer or affiliate marketing campaigns.
  • Experience creating Shopify discount codes and customer segments.
  • Experience building Klaviyo campaigns, automations, and email flows.
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools.
  • Experience creating social media content calendars.
  • Experience managing TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook content strategies.
