Delivery Operations Assistant

Job Overview 
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support & Delivery Operations Specialist to monitor delivery orders, resolve support inquiries, and ensure a seamless delivery experience. The ideal candidate has experience in delivery logistics, excels at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and communicates effectively with customers, delivery runners, and internal teams to maintain efficient operations. 

Schedule: 7AM Est to 9PM Est

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the delivery order dashboard to ensure all incoming orders are processed and running smoothly
  • Resolve delivery order issues and manage incoming support tickets via chat in a timely manner
  • Communicate with student delivery runners via phone when urgent delivery problems arise
  • Identify and escalate recurring delivery issues to improve overall service quality
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
  • Collaborate with team members during overlapping shifts to manage peak-hour order volumes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in customer support within delivery or food delivery logistics
  • Strong written communication skills with high English proficiency
  • Familiarity with delivery platforms or order management dashboards
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask across multiple orders simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
  • Must have backup power supply to ensure uninterrupted availability during shifts

Scope:

  • Part-time initially (20+ hours/week), transitioning to full-time (40+ hours/week) by August
  • Operating hours: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday
  • Primarily chat-based support with occasional voice calls to delivery runners
  • Training on proprietary delivery dashboard software and company policies (approximately one week)
