Our client is looking for an Accountant (UK Accounting) to join their growing UK-based accounting firm, which serves diverse corporate and international clients. Schedule:

• PH Time Zone from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (UK Business Hours Collaboration); 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for UK-based corporate clients
• Process transactions and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks as the primary platform
• Handle client accounts using Dext and Apron for document processing and workflow management
• Support TaxCal operations for tax calculations and compliance requirements
• Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting matters and financial reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain detailed financial reporting and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards

Requirements

• 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with demonstrated competency
• Previous experience working with UK clients and UK accounting standards strongly preferred
• A CPA qualification or equivalent accounting certification is preferred
• Bonus if you have experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or a similar accounting platform
• Strong English communication skills for professional client interaction
• Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup for remote work
