Our client is a caravan park operating on the Gold Coast, Australia, managing accommodations through a sophisticated booking and channel management system. They're scaling operations and need an experienced backend specialist to optimize their property management infrastructure and streamline guest booking processes across multiple platforms.

Job Description

You will own the backend operations of a complex property management system, ensuring accurate pricing, availability, and presentation across all booking channels. This is a detail-critical role where your technical expertise will directly impact revenue accuracy and guest experience. You'll work independently to audit, fix, and optimize system configurations while exploring automation opportunities through add-on integrations.

• Mon-Fri 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM AEST

Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze daily reports from RMS Cloud to monitor booking performance and system health
• Fix backend data discrepancies and historical booking traffic within the property management system Research, evaluate, and recommend add-on applications to streamline operations within RMS Cloud
• Maintain pricing accuracy and synchronization across RMS Cloud and all connected booking channels
• Ensure room details, descriptions, and availability are correctly displayed on Booking.com, Expedia, and other OTA platforms
• Audit channel manager integrations to prevent pricing mismatches and booking errors
• Manage backend system configurations to support accurate financial reporting
• Troubleshoot technical issues within the property management ecosystem
• Maintain data integrity across all connected platforms and booking channels

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven backend experience with property management or channel manager systems such as RMS Cloud, Cloudbeds, WebResPro, Guesty, Shumbu, or Oracle Hospitality
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial data and guest-facing information
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying process improvements
• Experience managing integrations between property management systems and online travel agencies
• Administrative background with systems optimization experience
• Comfortable working with complex software platforms beyond basic front-of-house booking functions

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have direct experience with RMS Cloud specifically
• It helps if you have exposure to social media marketing or digital presence management
• Bonus if you've worked in caravan park, hotel, or vacation rental property management
