Client Overview

Our client is a growing UK-based property services company specializing in land registry and title splitting for residential and commercial properties. They work with property owners, estate agents, and legal professionals to prepare accurate, to-scale plans required for official land registry submissions. As they expand their operations, they're building a dedicated offshore team to support increased demand.

Job Description

You will play a critical role in converting property floor plans into accurate, to-scale AutoCAD drawings that meet UK Land Registry standards. Working directly with the business owner, you will take PDF plans that are not to scale, recreate them in AutoCAD with precise measurements, and ensure every detail matches real-world dimensions. This role requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve when measurements are incomplete or unclear. You will also learn the specific requirements of UK land registry submissions and complete documentation to support title splitting and property registration.

Schedule

  •   9am-6pm BST 

Responsibilities

  • Convert PDF floor plans (not to scale) into accurate, to-scale AutoCAD drawings
  • Verify and apply measurements from provided plans to ensure drawings match real-world dimensions
  • Use Google Maps and other resources to verify measurements when agent plans are incomplete or inaccurate
  • Ensure all drawings are formatted to scale so printed measurements match actual property dimensions
  • Complete land registry documentation and submissions according to UK

Requirements

  • Review property layouts to ensure drawings reflect accurate real-life representation
  • Maintain high accuracy standards on every project to meet regulatory compliance Provide
  • daily progress reports outlining completed work and plans for the following day

Must-Have Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience using AutoCAD for drafting
  • Strong understanding of scaling principles and ability to convert plans to accurate scale
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical drawings
  • Excellent English communication skills with strong comprehension ability Self-starter who understands the bigger picture and can work independently without constant instruction
  • Ability to problem-solve when measurements are missing or unclear Comfortable learning new processes and applying regulatory requirements

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Bonus if you have experience with land registry, property surveys, or title documentation
  • It helps if you have worked with UK or similar property registration systems
  • Bonus if you are familiar with Google Maps or satellite imagery for measurement verification
