Channel Manager (YouTube & LinkedIn)
About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Channel Manager (YouTube & LinkedIn) to oversee and optimize our YouTube and LinkedIn presence. This role is ideal for someone who understands content strategy, audience growth, SEO, and brand consistency while working closely with the founder to amplify thought leadership and business growth.
This is a remote, part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
YouTube Management
- Revamp and optimize YouTube SEO to improve discoverability and channel growth.
- Conduct keyword research to reach high-net-worth business owners and target audiences.
- Manage video uploads, publishing schedules, playlists, and channel organization.
- Refresh and optimize existing videos to increase long-term performance.
- Streamline and enhance the channel's visual branding, including thumbnails, playlists, and overall presentation.
- Monitor YouTube Analytics and recommend data-driven improvements.
LinkedIn Management
- Schedule and publish content consistently on LinkedIn.
- Manage daily engagement by responding, liking, and commenting strategically.
- Support network growth through relationship-building and platform best practices.
- Follow established brand systems for thought leadership content and commentary.
- Maintain a polished, professional, and visually consistent brand presence.
- Collaborate with the founder on private messaging outreach and audience engagement.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work directly with the founder to execute the company's mission, vision, and content strategy.
- Help reduce the founder's day-to-day workload across social media channels.
- Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and audience experience across YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance, workflows, and audience growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing YouTube channels with demonstrated SEO and growth success.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn content management, engagement, and networking best practices.
- Experience with YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, and content lifecycle management.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple content workflows.
- Experience supporting leadership, coaching, consulting, or personal brands is preferred.
- Respect for and alignment with a queer and non-binary inclusive brand identity.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with the founder.
