Overview:

Our client is looking for a skilled Pytha Joinery & Cabinetry Drafter to create detailed 3D models and workable drawings for high-end residential luxury kitchens and commercial joinery projects. In this role, you will work remotely via VPN with Pytha software access provided by the client, collaborating directly with the business owner on project priorities and revision cycles. This position offers long-term growth potential, including opportunities to take on processing responsibilities and develop into a team lead position training future drafting hires.

Schedule: Flexible during client's business hours, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM AEST | Part-time role

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models and workable drawings using Pytha software for residential and commercial joinery projects
• Assign materials, plot layouts, and prepare title blocks to produce clear, approval-ready documentation
• Insert site sizes and ensure all drawings are dimensionally accurate and ready for architect or client mark-up
• Revise drawings based on feedback from architects and clients to meet approval requirements
• Support the production workflow by preparing processed drawings ready for manufacturing where applicable
• Maintain consistency and quality across all project documentation to uphold the business's high-end reputation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience using Pytha software for joinery or cabinetry drafting
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and reproduce technical drawings to a professional standard
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes
• High level of attention to detail with a commitment to producing neat, accurate work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Scope:

• Starting part-time at 20 hours per week with potential to move to full-time based on performance and workload
• Drafting for high-end residential luxury kitchens and commercial joinery projects
• Working remotely via VPN with Pytha software access provided by the client
