Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Content Creator and Growth Specialist to grow engagement, reach, and views across Instagram and TikTok. You will create compelling short-form content from existing video assets while using performance data, platform trends, and audience insights to improve results over time.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible during client business hours (Melbourne Time)

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality Instagram Reels and TikTok videos using supplied footage and brand assets.
• Develop engaging hooks, captions, on-screen text, titles, and video formats that resonate with parents of young children.
• Research trends, high-performing content, and competitor activity within the parenting and children’s space.
• Adapt proven formats and trends to suit the brand and available content.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with business priorities.
• Track views, reach, engagement, watch time, saves, shares, and follower growth.
• Analyse performance and turn results into practical recommendations for future content.
• Test and improve hooks, posting times, captions, video length, formats, and calls to action.
• Identify content that can be repurposed or developed into a series.
• Work independently while following brand guidelines and incorporating feedback.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience growing organic engagement and views on Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong creative ability in short-form video storytelling, editing, copywriting, trend research, and visual presentation.
• Solid technical understanding of Instagram and TikTok analytics, platform best practices, content testing, and performance optimisation.
• Ability to explain what is working, what is not, and the actions needed to improve results.
• Experience using video-editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Experience with lifestyle, family, parenting, children’s, hospitality, retail, or similar consumer-facing brands is preferred.
• Strong written English, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
• Able to balance creative instinct with data-driven decision-making.
