This family-run venture is focused on creating a premium digital presence to bring specialty roasted coffee directly to customers nationwide through subscription programs and individual product sales.

Job Description
You will take full ownership of building a functional, visually compelling Shopify website from the ground up. Working closely with the founding team, you'll transform their creative vision and prepared artwork into a live, user-friendly e-commerce site featuring approximately 12 products with subscription and individual purchase options. This is a hands-on role where your Shopify expertise will directly shape the customer experience and launch success of a brand-new online business.
Responsibilities
- Build a custom Shopify website from scratch using existing artwork and brand assets provided by the client
- Implement product catalog featuring approximately 12 core products with variations
- Set up and configure subscription functionality for annual purchase programs alongside individual product sales
- Ensure the site is fully functional, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions
- Collaborate with the client team to bring their creative vision to life while maintaining best practices
- Integrate payment processing and email systems that are already established
- Deliver a complete, launch-ready e-commerce site within a tight timeline
- Provide recommendations for site optimization and user experience improvements
Must-Have Requirements
- 2–5 years of proven experience developing Shopify websites
- Demonstrated ability to build complete e-commerce sites from scratch
- Strong proficiency with Shopify platform features, themes, and customization
- Experience implementing subscription-based purchasing systems
- Portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects and live sites
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Bonus if you have experience with organic or specialty food e-commerce brands
- It helps if you're familiar with coffee industry e-commerce and subscription models
- Bonus if you have graphic design skills to refine existing artwork within Shopify
