Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Design Consultant (SaaS) to evaluate their existing SaaS platform's user interface and user experience, identifying key areas for improvement. In this part-time advisory role, you will provide expert feedback and actionable design recommendations to the internal development team, advise on UI/UX best practices drawn from successful commercial SaaS products in the North American market, and ensure design decisions optimize usability for enterprise sales users handling large data sets.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the existing SaaS platform's user interface and user experience, identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide expert feedback and actionable design recommendations to the internal development team.
• Advise on UI/UX best practices drawn from successful commercial SaaS products in the North American market.
• Collaborate with the tech lead and team members to align design improvements with business goals.
• Ensure design decisions support usability for enterprise sales users working with large data sets.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of SaaS platform work.
• Demonstrated experience designing for products sold into the US and Canadian markets.
• Ability to operate in an advisory capacity, guiding existing teams with strategic design direction.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current product flows and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of design quality.
