Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior E-commerce Specialist (BigCommerce) to step into a critical role supporting a well-established retail brand’s complex e-commerce ecosystem. Working alongside a dedicated team of two full-time professionals, you will provide essential overflow capacity for high-level web content management and merchandising operations. You will be trusted with sophisticated platform integrations and complex product publishing workflows that directly impact customer experience and business growth.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible during client business hours (Morning shift) Sydney Time (AEDT), with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage product publishing workflows and data accuracy across the BigCommerce platform.
• Execute advanced merchandising operations using the Salsify PIM system.
• Support website content creation and maintenance for established e-commerce operations.
• Collaborate directly with existing full-time team members on strategic initiatives.
• Handle complex system integrations between multiple e-commerce platforms.
• Maintain product data integrity across a sophisticated technology stack.
• Provide overflow support during peak periods and special projects.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience with a proven track record.
• Extensive BigCommerce platform experience (non-negotiable).
• Strong background in PIM systems and product data management.
• Ability to work independently with complex, sophisticated e-commerce systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and systematic approach to data management.
