Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive Shopify E-commerce Assistant to own international freight logistics and supply chain operations for an emerging premium beauty brand. In this role, you will manage complex shipments from Italian suppliers to US customers while ensuring the online storefront remains high-converting and aligned with the brand's premium aesthetic. This is a critical position offering direct collaboration with founders and long-term potential in a fast-scaling international environment.

Schedule

Part Time - 20h per week - flexible schedule within GMT business hours

Responsibilities

• Manage complex international freight shipments from Italy to the USA.
• Coordinate directly with freight agents to ensure timely and accurate shipping processes.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations from the website interface to the supplier.
• Maintain and update the Shopify backend, including product assets and site settings.
• Monitor site performance and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) improvements.
• Take proactive ownership of operational challenges and suggest website enhancements.
• Collaborate with the founders to ensure the brand's premium aesthetic is maintained across the store.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing international freight shipping and logistics.
• High proficiency with Shopify store management and backend operations.
• Previous experience working within the Beauty E-commerce sector.
• Strong understanding of supply chain workflows and inventory management.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as a core team member.
• Bonus if you have experience with Shopify Liquid coding or backend development.
• It helps if you have a background in graphic design or visual marketing.
