Job Description

You will be the first point of contact for potential borrowers, taking ownership of the entire application intake process from initial inquiry to document collection. Your role is critical: you'll turn marketing leads into complete, qualified applications while maintaining the trust and confidence of Australian clients. This position offers clear growth potential, with plans to expand to a full-time schedule and build a larger team around high performers.

Schedule

•  20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 10am until 2pm (Melbourne Time)

Responsibilities

• Contact inbound leads from Meta advertising campaigns and conduct initial qualification calls
• Take complete finance applications over the phone, collecting sensitive personal and financial information
• Follow up with customers to request and track required documentation
• Maintain and update the custom CRM system to ensure all applications are current and complete
• Send professional email communications to clients regarding their application status
• Handle general administrative tasks related to application processing
• Build rapport and trust with Australian clients to facilitate disclosure of confidential information
• Coordinate with brokers to ensure applications have all necessary information for progression to settlement
• Manage lead pipeline to ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries
• Prioritize high-quality leads while maintaining contact with the full inquiry database

Must-Have Requirements

• Excellent phone communication skills with a clear, professional speaking voice
• Proven ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone
• Experience handling confidential customer information with discretion
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a CRM system and keep detailed records
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have experience with Ambition Cloud software
• It helps if you have previous experience as a finance application taker
• Experience in lending, finance brokerage, or loan processing is valued
• Familiarity with Australian financial services is a plus
