WordPress Web Developer (Elementor)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly dependable WordPress Web Developer (Elementor) to support the creation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of an existing website.

For this role, an exceptionally strong emphasis is placed on communication and reliability alongside your technical capabilities. While strong hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor is required, our client values a developer who is organized, consistently responsive, and proactive about providing regular status updates on assigned work.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working within an already established site structure, follows web development best practices, and delivers clean, responsive, visually consistent results with minimal supervision.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible during business hours, US Eastern Time (EST) (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

Development & Design

  • Modify, refine, and improve existing WordPress web pages without breaking current functionality.
  • Design and build dynamic, custom new sections and pages using Elementor.
  • Optimize all pages and layouts for full responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Ensure all new and modified designs strictly adhere to existing visual and brand guidelines.

  • Identify and troubleshoot minor layout or performance issues across pre-built pages.

  • Provide regular, transparent status updates on active tasks, deadlines, and project milestones.
  • Actively raise flags early regarding potential blockers, technical limitations, or timeline adjustments.
  • Collaborate clearly with the team to understand design requirements and propose smart layout or UX improvements.

Requirements

  • Core Expertise: Proven professional experience working with WordPress and advanced hands-on experience using the Elementor page builder.

  • Attention to Detail: Eye for design consistency, clean layout execution, and accurate content formatting.
