Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid media, campaign strategy, tracking, analytics, attribution, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing strategy with practical experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and ROAS reporting.
This role requires someone who can take ownership from strategy through execution, proactively identify and troubleshoot performance or tracking issues, and use data to optimize campaigns and drive measurable business results. Advanced coding or software development is not required, but the candidate should be comfortable managing standard marketing technology and knowing when developer support is necessary.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time (4 hours per day, 20 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Create and manage Google Ads conversion actions, goals, audiences, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization.

Manage Meta Ads campaigns, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and custom conversions.

Monitor and optimize campaigns based on conversions, revenue, cost per acquisition, and ROAS.

Manage and troubleshoot conversion tracking and attribution across Google Ads, Meta, GA4, and ecommerce platforms.

Manage and maintain GA4 properties, events, key events, conversions, and reporting.

Use Google Tag Manager to configure and troubleshoot standard tags, triggers, and variables.

● Monitor and resolve discrepancies between advertising platforms, analytics, and ecommerce reporting.

Maintain accurate UTM and campaign tracking structures.

Develop and maintain reliable ROAS and campaign performance reporting.

Analyze campaign and customer data to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.

Develop and execute lead generation, seasonal, remarketing, and location-specific campaigns.

Understand customer journeys from landing page through conversion or purchase.

Make basic edits to landing pages and website content through existing CMS or website platforms.

Troubleshoot basic website and conversion-related marketing issues.

Work with developers when specialized technical or custom development is required.

Develop marketing strategies based on business goals, campaign performance, and data.

Take ownership of initiatives from strategy through implementation and measurable results.

Work closely with the creative marketing team to align campaigns, messaging, and advertising performance.

Provide clear updates on campaign progress, results, and any potential roadblocks.
Requirements:

Proven experience in performance marketing and paid media, particularly Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Hands-on experience with Google Ads conversion tracking and conversion actions.

Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).

Experience with Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Meta Events Manager.

Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and ROAS reporting.

Experience with ecommerce conversion tracking.

Experience analyzing and troubleshooting marketing tracking and attribution issues.

Experience with basic website/CMS and landing-page management.
-
Strong campaign strategy, optimization, and performance analysis skills.

Experience with lead-generation campaigns and conversion optimization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from strategy through execution.

Comfortable researching unfamiliar marketing technology issues and identifying appropriate solutions.

Advanced coding or software development experience is not required, but the candidate should be comfortable working with standard marketing technology and recognizing when developer support is needed.
