Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled remote Short-Form Video Editor & Colorist to handle video highlight reels and social media content for a diverse retainer client base. You will collaborate closely with our on-site production team to deliver luxury-standard video assets, perform advanced color grading in DaVinci Resolve, and occasionally support basic photo retouching to maintain overall visual consistency.

Schedule

• Requires 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday, with flexible hours operating within standard Central Time (CT) business hours, 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content, including highlight reels and social media reels, for a diverse client base.
• Perform professional color grading on video assets to ensure polished, brand-aligned final products.
• Collaborate closely with the on-site production team to align edited video content with the overall creative direction.
• Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously while meeting strict client deadlines.
• Secondary: Support photo editing tasks as needed, providing clean color correction and basic retouching to maintain visual consistency alongside video deliverables.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in video editing software with a dedicated focus on short-form content.
• Experience with professional video color grading, specifically using DaVinci Resolve.
• Secondary: Basic to intermediate photo editing skills (e.g., Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop) with a willingness to assist on photo assets when required.
• High-level attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-tier quality output.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Serve as a reliable, ongoing editing resource for retainer clients across multiple industries.
• Deliver content that meets luxury brand standards, primarily in videography with occasional photography support.
• Adapt editing style to suit diverse client aesthetics, ranging from lifestyle to commercial.
• Support the agency's capacity to scale its content output consistently and seamlessly.
