Job Overview

Our client is looking for an RevOps AI Systems Engineer to design, build, operate, and optimize systems powering their marketing and sales organization. Sitting at the intersection of AI, revenue ops, CRM, automation, and data, this role requires both operational insight and technical execution to improve workflows, integrate platforms, and maximize business efficiency.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM CST (Fredericksburg, Texas time)

Responsibilities

• Marketing Ops: Design full lifecycle systems across SEO, paid, email, and CRO; manage workflows for lead gen, segmentation, attribution, and reporting; connect marketing actions to CRM and revenue.
• Sales Ops: Build prospecting, qualification, scoring, and routing workflows; design pipeline stages and ownership rules; automate admin tasks and assist sales teams with account research and forecasting.
• AI Systems & Automation: Build AI agents, tools, and multi-step workflows; configure prompts, system logic, structured outputs, and tool calling; evaluate AI vs. standard automation; monitor and improve output accuracy.
• CRM & Data Ops: Configure CRM field structures, lifecycle stages, and lead scoring; execute data hygiene, enrichment, and deduplication; build automated alerts and end-to-end funnel reporting.
• Integrations: Connect CRM, analytics, web, and ad platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier); handle error logic, fallbacks, and integration documentation.

Requirements

• Practical experience in marketing, sales, and revenue operations, including CRM management and campaign lifecycles.
• Strong grasp of lead generation, qualification, scoring, routing, and pipeline management.
• Solid understanding of marketing channels (SEO, paid media, email, social), CRO, attribution, and funnel analytics.
• Technical ability to build, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize integrated business architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI agents, LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, and structured outputs.
• Proficiency with automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier), marketing/sales automation, and conversational AI.
• Technical familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, Git, RAG systems, and cloud environments.

• Strong cross-functional communicator comfortable working with marketing, sales, dev teams, and leadership.
