Our client is seeking a versatile WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist to take complete technical and strategic ownership of the client's web presence and organic acquisition channels. In this dual-capability role, you will lead the complete visual and functional redesign of their WordPress website—bringing it in line with high-end American design standards and mobile user expectations. Simultaneously, you will build and execute an aggressive local and technical SEO strategy to capture high-intent homeowner traffic, optimize lead conversion pathways, and scale organic search market share across Florida.

Client Overview

Our client is a premier, rapidly growing home improvement company based in Florida, specializing in hurricane impact-resistant windows and doors for residential homeowners statewide. Operating in a highly competitive regional market, they are elevating their digital presence to drive homeowner acquisition and brand authority. To modernize their digital footprint and build a high-converting search funnel, they are onboarding a remote WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist to lead web redesign and organic search optimization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business Hours Aligned with Eastern Time (FL, US) (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• WordPress Web Development & UX Optimization
  • Redesign and modernize the existing WordPress website to reflect a contemporary, high-end American aesthetic while preserving core content structures.
  • Customize themes, page layouts, and interactive elements to create clean, responsive user experiences optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Optimize core web vitals, page load speeds, caching protocols, and server response times to meet search performance standards.
  • Ensure seamless lead capture integrations, contact forms, and click-to-call conversion paths throughout the site.
• Technical & Local SEO Strategy
  • Conduct detailed keyword research and competitor analysis tailored to the Florida home improvement and storm protection sectors.
  • Execute comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO enhancements, including schema markup, URL structures, internal linking, and meta assets.
  • Implement targeted Local SEO strategies (Google Business Profile optimization, localized landing pages, and service area targeting) to capture regional homeowner demand.
  • Monitor web traffic, search rankings, and conversion metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing regular performance reporting and data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• WordPress Portfolio: Proven track record in custom WordPress development, showing a portfolio of modern, clean web designs that align with US market standards.
• Hands-on SEO Track Record: Demonstrated experience in technical, on-page, and Local SEO implementation with documented organic ranking growth for service-based businesses.
• US Market & Design Awareness: Familiarity with American aesthetic preferences, commercial design trends, and local service business conversion principles.
• Analytical & Autonomous Execution: Self-directed approach with the ability to manage web projects, analyze traffic data, and execute strategy with minimal supervision.
