WordPress Webmaster & Graphic Designer

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a hands-on WordPress Webmaster & Graphic Designer to support the execution of their marketing efforts. This role blends WordPress website management, graphic design, and digital marketing execution, with an emphasis on creating polished, specification-focused marketing materials for architects, landscape architects, contractors, and design professionals. This is an execution-focused role for someone creative, dependable, and self-sufficient who can turn ideas, product information, photography, renderings, drawings, and direction into high-quality finished work.

Client Overview

The company designs and manufactures high-quality, design-forward architectural castings and site furnishings. Since 1972, it has created bespoke solutions for landscape and architectural projects across the United States.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific, with flexibility as long as there is meaningful overlap, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Website & WordPress Management: Maintain and continuously improve the website using WordPress; own day-to-day content updates (product pages, project/case study pages, landing pages); upload and organize product photography, renderings, drawings, specs, brochures, and technical documents; maintain links, forms, navigation, basic SEO elements (titles, metadata, alt text), and optimize images/content; coordinate with outside web developers when needed.
  • Graphic Design & Specification Marketing: Create polished marketing and technical collateral (product data sheets, spec sheets, brochures, catalogs, case studies, trade show materials, product comparisons, technical diagrams); design graphics for email, website, and social media; support product launches and sales presentations.
  • Digital Marketing Execution: Build and distribute email campaigns; assist with HubSpot marketing activities, basic SEO, and website/campaign performance reporting; publish LinkedIn and social content; organize digital marketing assets and repurpose content across multiple channels.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in digital marketing, graphic design, marketing production, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience creating marketing or design materials for architecture-focused businesses, architectural products, or high-design brands
  • A portfolio that demonstrates architecture-focused work, strong design sensibility, and the ability to create materials that appeal to architects and landscape architects
  • Understanding of architectural audiences and how to present product aesthetics, design intent, and technical information clearly and professionally
  • Strong visual taste and judgment, with the ability to maintain the standards of a premium, design-forward brand
  • Strong WordPress experience and the ability to independently maintain and update website content
  • Strong graphic design and layout skills, including typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience creating professional B2B marketing collateral and preparing content and images for websites
  • Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Strong written English communication skills
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to translate creative direction and product information into polished deliverables with limited supervision and increasing self-sufficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing architectural castings, site furnishings, or other design-forward building products
  • Experience creating technical product literature, product data sheets, or specification-focused marketing materials
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Experience incorporating architectural drawings, CAD exports, existing renderings, or technical product information into marketing collateral
  • Experience creating architectural project case studies, product launch materials, or project-focused content
  • Experience supporting marketing to contractors, specifiers, or other architecture, engineering, and construction professionals
  • Basic video editing or motion graphics experience

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Head of Design and works closely with Design, Sales, Business Development, and leadership.
