High-Ticket Sales Representative

About the Role:

We are looking for an expert High-Ticket Sales Representative to take qualified leads through the final stages of the sales process and convert them into paying customers.

This role is ideal for an experienced closer who is highly confident on the phone, understands consultative selling, and has a proven track record of converting qualified prospects into high-value sales.

You will primarily work with warm and qualified leads generated through the company's CRM and sales-setting team, conducting sales calls, identifying customer needs, overcoming objections, presenting the value of the solution, and confidently asking for the sale.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly persuasive without being pushy, and understands that successful closing is about building trust, identifying the customer's needs, and helping them make a confident purchasing decision.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (Australian Eastern Time), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week/7.5 hours per day)

Responsibilities:

  • High-Ticket Sales Closing
    • Conduct sales calls with qualified warm leads and booked appointments.
    • Take ownership of the sales process from qualified appointment through to close.
    • Build strong rapport and credibility with prospects quickly.
    • Understand each prospect's situation, needs, pain points, and buying motivations.
    • Present the company's products/services clearly and communicate the value proposition effectively.
    • Tailor the sales conversation to the individual prospect rather than relying on a rigid script.
    • Handle objections relating to price, timing, trust, competition, and decision-making.
    • Identify buying signals and confidently transition the conversation toward a close.
    • Ask for the sale and secure payment or commitment where appropriate.
    • Follow up with prospects who are interested but not yet ready to purchase.
    • Re-engage qualified leads that have previously declined or postponed.
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, outcomes, and follow-ups in the CRM.
  • Sales Process & Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales setters to ensure qualified leads are properly handed over.
    • Provide feedback on lead quality and common objections.
    • Collaborate with management to continuously improve sales scripts, processes, and conversion rates.
    • Track and report key sales metrics including calls, opportunities, conversion rates, revenue, and follow-ups.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and overall sales process.
    • Maintain a professional and consistent customer experience throughout the sales process.

Key Performance Indicators:

Success in this role will be measured through:

  • Sales conversion rate.
  • Revenue generated.
  • Close rate from qualified appointments.
  • Average transaction value.
  • Follow-up conversion.
  • Speed and consistency of lead follow-up.
  • CRM accuracy and sales pipeline management.
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a high-ticket sales closer.
  • Communication & Fluency: Exceptional spoken English fluency with a deep understanding of Australian business culture, industry terminology, and local market nuances.
  • Location & Market Alignment: Australian market experience preferred (open to qualified candidates with strong knowledge of the Australian business environment).
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently closing high-value sales.
  • Experience handling qualified inbound or warm leads.
  • Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
  • Excellent objection-handling and negotiation ability.
  • Confident asking for the sale and discussing price.
  • Strong understanding of sales psychology and buying behaviour.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Highly confident and professional phone presence.
  • Strong CRM experience and sales pipeline management skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable working toward aggressive sales targets and KPIs.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, competitive, and commercially minded.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Candidates with experience selling products or services
  • Experience within any of the following industries would be advantageous:
    • Property
    • Real estate
    • Conveyancing
    • Financial services
    • Professional services
    • SaaS
    • High-ticket consulting
    • B2B services
  • Experience closing sales with Australian customers or businesses is also highly desirable.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is a genuine closer, not simply a salesperson.

You know how to control a sales conversation without dominating it. You can quickly establish trust, uncover the real reason a prospect is considering a purchase, identify objections, communicate value, and confidently ask for the business.

You are comfortable discussing money, handling difficult objections, following up persistently, and being accountable for revenue results.

You should be able to demonstrate real sales numbers and examples of deals you have personally closed, rather than simply describing yourself as a strong salesperson.
