Are you a skilled UK Construction Estimator with a strong background in interior fit-outs, dry lining, or carpentry?

Our client is seeking an experienced specialist to drive accurate pricing, detailed cost planning, and precise quantity surveying. In this essential backend support role, you will work independently to measure drawings, analyze project specifications, and produce bills of quantities using your knowledge of UK construction standards and pricing models. Experience collaborating with remote construction teams is a major plus!

Client Overview:

A growing construction business specializing in dry lining, interior fit out, and carpentry projects. The team is expanding its estimation capacity to ensure consistent workflow coverage and prevent missed business opportunities.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, flexible working hours with availability for team communication during UK business hours (GMT/BST, 9:00 AM onwards) (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate bills of quantities for dry lining, interior fit out, and carpentry projects
• Create comprehensive cost plans and measure drawings to support project pricing
• Review and analyze project specifications to ensure thorough and precise estimates
• Collaborate with the internal team to clarify project requirements and deliverables
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, pricing documentation, and project details
• Deliver completed estimates within agreed project timelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically in dry lining, interior fit out, or carpentry
• Demonstrated ability to measure and interpret construction drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and high numerical accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible availability during UK business hours for communication and check-ins
• Bonus if you have experience working with remote construction teams
• It helps if you are familiar with UK construction standards and pricing models
