Customer Service Representative (Ticketing Systems)

Overview
Our client is looking for a Tier 1 Customer Service Representative to serve as the frontline support for their customers, responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring every ticket is accurately resolved or routed. As part of an international, tech-enabled organization delivering seamless digital solutions, you will work within customer support systems to maintain fast, clear communication and high customer satisfaction. This role offers flexible operational stability with clear pathways to grow into higher-tier support and account management functions.

Schedule
Part Time - 20h per week, flexible hours within GMT

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer questions and issues through the ticketing system within required service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Troubleshoot basic customer issues, identify appropriate resolutions, and provide clear, accurate written responses.
  • Follow up on open tickets until issues are fully resolved.
  • Identify complex issues requiring additional investigation and follow established escalation procedures to route them to the Customer Success Management (CSM) or technical support teams.
  • Document thorough troubleshooting steps, customer details, and relevant context when escalating tickets.
  • Keep ticket notes, logs, and customer information accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple active tickets concurrently.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, customer support, BPO, or operations.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Basic troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Solid computer literacy with the adaptability to learn new internal tools quickly.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing ticket priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work U.S. or U.K. aligned hours (including evening/night shifts if based internationally).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior hands-on experience using ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar).
  • Prior experience supporting international customers (U.S., U.K., or global markets).
